Now come one come all...

Hey there, names Pat, or Jester, whichever you prefer. I myself am a "hardcore" gamer. One of the number one things I enjoy about gaming is the community, as there are so many ideas and thoughts that float around, and many of these ideas are extremely thought provoking. So whats the point of this blog you ask? This is a mish mash of things, youll probably get a little bit of news, a review here and there, but mostly, its a place to spark debate and conversation. I will post ideas, discussion, polotics and other things related to gaming, Ill probably come forward with my own take on things, but the aim is to spark debate and discussion. I will be setting up a forum for which people can discuss the topics I post on. My first series of pieces will be titled "state of the genre" and will talk about the problems currently plagueing the genres we have come to know and love, I will then go on to give my take on what the gaming world can do about it.
